On the other side of the galaxy, the Federation continues for months to reestablish contact with the Rangers scout ship. With no reply, they send out another scout ship to find out what had happened to them. To reach that destination, they anticipate it would take another two months to arrive at their last known course. In that time they analyze all the records and information that came from the Rangers scout ship. But, there was no evidence that they were in any kind of danger.

Under the command of Capt. Alexander Hallenbeck a galaxy Federation scout ship was deployed to find out what happened to the Rangers scout ship, and to bring back the information to the Federation of planets. It was stationed at an outpost in the Gamma quadrant.

As they travel to their destination, they tried to obtain from anyone if they had information about the lost scout ship. But, there seem to be no one with any information.

After months of observation of the two Jedi, DRACO & VOLOS, there seems to be no other reoccurrence of this hostile behavior towards anyone. They were reinstated to their former positions.

As Capt. Alexander Hallenbeck arrived at the last known destination of the Ranger scout ship; they could not find any evidence of it. So, they proceeded to go deeper into the Gamma quadrant. Keeping in contact with the Federation outpost, when they encounter a battle cruiser to the Old Republic, which is governed by the Council of the Sith lords, which was reestablish by the head Sith Lord (FRAENER).

When seeing the battle cruiser, Capt. Alexander immediately reported to the Federation outpost that they were about to contact the battle cruiser for information about the lost scout ship.

VASUKI one of the members of the Sith Lords immediately detecting a human presence on the scout ship, went into an uncontrollable rage. Ordered the battle cruiser to destroy the scout ship. One of the commanders of the ship suggested to capture the scout ship. but VASUKI demanded that the scout  be destroyed. With no other alternative the battle cruiser opened fire and destroyed the scout ship. They killed everyone on board.

The Federation received the transmission about the battle cruiser. Then They lost contact with Capt. Hallenbeck and the scout ship altogether. Assuming the worst the Federation made plans to send out two Federation starships with two Klingon battle cruisers to retrieve the second scout ship at any cost. But held back until they could established a Starbase in the Gamma quadrant.
