Capt. Carondos (DRACO & VOLOS)
After the destruction of the Federation scout ship. Captain Carondos and the two Jedi knights
DRACO & VOLOS were summons by the Council of the Jedi Knights. Asking for an explanation for their actions and destroying the alien scout ship.
The captain explained that he had no alternative but to obey the Jedi's, because he was in fear of his life. He did not know what came over them, but in coming in contact with the Federation ship the Jedi's immediately became enraged: "They rushed into the captain's station and started demanding that we destroy the ship. When I refused they drew their light sabers and killed three of my men on deck. And repeated their demands to destroy the ship. I had no alternative but to obey their demands. If I hadn't I would have been killed and they would have destroyed the ship themselves."
Discussing the matter with the first Jedi Draco. The council asked him what had occurred on Capt. Carondos ship. Draco sat there calmly trying to understand it himself. He said when the ship came into sensor range there was an overwhelming feeling of hatred and rage against them. It was an uncontrollable feeling of ultimately destroying them. As if he had a very bad encounter with them before, and his life somehow was being threatened beyond his capability of understanding.
The council asked him if he had ever had any dealings with anyone that possibly came in contact with them before. Draco said not to his knowledge. At this time the council dismissed him until further notice and requested to see VOLOS .
Volos enters the room. The Council asks him to take his seat, so he does. They asked to hear his version of what happened when encountering the alien ship. Volos is quiet for a couple of minutes. Then he starts to explain what happened: "I was in the engineer Department of the ship, when all of a sudden I felt this sick uncontrollable anger come over me. I immediately headed for the captain station where he met Draco doing the same. We both went together and demanded the captain to destroy the ship that was trying to contact them. The captain refused at first, then his men moved in to protect him so we killed them, and demanded again for the captain to destroy the ship or we would kill him and do it ourselves."
After the explanation the council dismissed him also. The council remained there trying to understand the unsettling emotions the two Jedi's experienced. The only conclusion that they could come up with, was that these were tendencies of the dark side of the force in them. So they arranged for both of them to be detained for further observations.
